My daughter Kalani just turned 8! She loves the Frozen movies, so I threw her a Disney frozen birthday party. She invited her school friends over and they had a blast! I will be sharing easy food ideas, a fun DIY backdrop & where to find Frozen party supplies!
the invitation
It all started with a Frozen themed invitation! To create a fun design, I used using Canva.com!

A fun party backdrop!
Every party needs a “wow” factor! To make it happen, I created a backdrop using streamers and a Frozen balloon garland! My goal was to decorate the party like a mash up of Frozen & Frozen 2!
To create my streamers backdrop, I used curling ribbon, command hooks & streamers. I tied each end of the curling ribbon to wire command hooks. Then I cut the streamers to the appropriate sizes and draped them over the curling ribbon. Super easy!
Our kitchen table was the perfect place to set up a kids’ tablescape! If you’re looking for Frozen party supplies, I found the cutest plates & napkins at Walmart.
To add a fun detail, I layered elegant plates made from palm leaves behind the Frozen plates. Thanks to the Kijani company for gifting these to me! Although they are disposable, I plan to reuse them for future parties.
easy party food ideas!
I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to spend piles of time making the food! Most of my snacks were easy to make, store-bought or half-way homemade.
What kid doesn’t love rice krispies? To jazz them up a bit, I dyed them with blue food coloring.
I found the cutest idea online! A Frozen snowball donut tower! I couldn’t find plain white donut holes, so I used a variety. If you want to make your own, you can find the video tutorial here.
My cupcakes were half-way homemade! I found an easy cupcake recipe, and frosted them with store-bought frosting! Then I topped them off with Frozen themed rings.
Jello Jigglers are one of my go-to party treats! I love how easy they are to make and they come in a variety of colors!
party games
Let’s talk about the most important thing! (according to the kids!) Games! We came up with a couple simple games that most kids would love! My oldest daughter made a paper Olaf, and the kids played “pin the nose on the Olaf!”
Do you remember doing scavenger hunts as a kid? I have many fond memories! I found a Frozen scavenger hunt online and printed it off. The kids enjoyed racing around the house to find the next clue!
Overall, my daughter’s party was a success! She loved spending time with her friends, playing fun games and enjoying yummy food. I hope you feel inspired to plan your own Disney frozen birthday party! To find more inspiration, check out my Frozen 2 party & hot chocolate station!
