What kid doesn’t love mini balloons on sticks? Mine are always begging for them when we are at the store! When I surprise them with these Frozen 2 themed balloons, they were beyond thrilled.
Mini balloons are a simple and fun party favor that kids will love. Along with balloons, I ordered Frozen 2 tattoos from Party City that were a huge hit!
Have you seen balloons that are shaped like beach balls? My kids thought they were the greatest! They spent hours bopping them up in the air and playing.
Setting up a Dessert Table
To set the scene, I styled a Frozen 2 inspired dessert table with a balloon backdrop! Mostly I kept the decorations simple and offered hot chocolate, toppings and yummy Frozen themed treats.
Have you built a balloon backdrop before? It’s so fun and easy to do!
Creating a Balloon Backdrop
-Buy your Frozen 2 Balloons from an Anagram Balloons distributor
-Inflate the balloons by using a pump or straw
-Attach the balloons to the wall using clear packing tape
Setting up a Hot Chocolate Station
Hot chocolate is one of my kids’ favorite treats, especially after playing outside on a cold day! So I knew they’d love it when I set up a Frozen 2 themed hot chocolate station. Plus I served blue Elsa’s Hot Chocolate! Yum!
Lately, I’ve seen so many charcuterie board ideas on Pinterest! They are one of the latest trends and I’m all for it! So I jumped on the bandwagon and arranged hot cocoa toppings on a decorative cutting board. Here’s a few ideas!
Toppings:
-Chocolate chips
-Chocolate kisses
–Mini marshmallows
–Blue chocolate melts
–Snow Queen sprinkles
–Cream filled wafers
-Coconut flakes
–Caramels
Not only is a snack board look cool, it also makes a great self-serve snack area!
My kids loved being able to choose which topping they wanted for their hot chocolate! I’d say sprinkles were a big hit!
Yummy Frozen Themed Treats!
In my opinion, party snacks should be simple and fun! So I made Frozen 2 themed cupcakes and chex mix to go along with the hot chocolate.
Frozen 2 Cupcakes
To save time, I made cupcakes from a cake mix box and frosted them with Favorite Vanilla Buttercream from Sally’s Baking Addiction blog. (you should check out these cupcake liners!!)
For a finishing touch, I added Frozen themed sprinkles and leaf toppers.
Frozen 2 Trail Mix Recipe
Do you like salty and sweet snacks? Then I encourage you to make this Frozen 2 Trail mix! Trust me, it’s so easy to make! Click here to find the full recipe!
Treat cups are my absolute favorite way to display goodies. They make the perfect serving containers for chex mix or any other party food! My kids love em’!
Setting Up a Frozen Themed Tablescape
A party wouldn’t be complete with a cute space for the kids to sit and hang out! So I set up a tablescape with Frozen 2 themed plates and napkins from Party City. They matched my decor perfectly!
At each place setting, I set out a cup of hot chocolate and trail mix. I found the hot cocoa cups and straws at Hobby Lobby! (my all time favorite store!)
Fall leaves made the perfect decorations to accent my tablescape! Check the Fall section at Hobby lobby. They are pretty easy to find!
What kid doesn’t love cupcakes with sprinkles? Mine are crazy about them. To make snacking easy, I set a cupcake stand at the center of the table.
Whether you are planning a kids’ birthday or a play date, a Frozen 2 party would be an easy theme to decorate for! If you’re looking for more inspiration, check out my daughter’s 8th Frozen birthday party! I hope you feel inspired to plan your own Frozen party. Happy planning!

Wow, what a fantastic idea for a Frozen 2 party! The hot chocolate station adds such a cozy and festive touch, and I love how you incorporated different toppings and mix-ins to create a personalized hot chocolate experience. The themed decorations and printables really bring the magic of Frozen 2 alive. It’s clear that you put a lot of effort and thought into planning this party, and I’m sure it was a hit with kids and adults alike. Thank you for sharing this wonderful inspiration! – CinemaHDV2
