Hey friends! Are you looking for Valentine’s Day decorating inspiration? Look no further! I’ve started early on Valentine’s Day decorating this year by embellishing a Valentine’s Day wall shelf with a hot air balloon theme. I had so much fun with the project and I hope you enjoy it!
Valentine’s Day Wall Shelf Decorating Ideas
I’ll admit that decorating hasn’t always come easily for me, so when this wall shelf came together so seamlessly, I felt quite accomplished! Before I began decorating, I searched through my two holiday totes to see if I had any items I could use. Usually I have enough decorations on hand to get started on my project!
Glass vases are such easy items to add your wall shelf decorations. Since I’m a fan of putting on parties, I’ve acquired quite the collection. For a festive touch, I add pink crinkle paper and rose petals to these vases.
Oh and I can’t forget to mention that I received a Felt Letter Board as a gift this Christmas. I was so thrilled! I can think of over a 100 different ways to display this board. Wouldn’t it be perfect for writing sayings for the holidays or parties?
It seems like I can’t celebrate Valentine’s Day without using rose petals! These are so inexpensive (you can find them at the dollar store!) and they go well with most decorations.
When I’m decorating for a holiday or event, I tend to use gold as an accent color. Gold is so elegant and it matches pretty much any other color!
Isn’t this the cutest sign ever?? I’m in love with hot air balloon decorations and it’s on my bucket list to go on a hot air balloon ride adventure!
Decorating for Valentine’s Day is so fun and easy. If you are looking to decorate a Valentine’s Day wall shelf, the possibilities are endless! Using what you have around your home and inexpensive decorations, you will have a cute shelf in no time!
