How I customized my party with cricut explore 3
I’ve noticed that daisy decorations are trending! I’ve seen other balloon artists add daisies to balloons, so I had to try it!
For my first project, I added a vinyl lettering to my balloon garland! To accomplish this, I chose a design and fonts using Cricut Design Space. To add vinyl, all you need are a few supplies.
Supplies:
–Smart vinyl (permanent): champagne matte metallic
–Transfer tape
Tools:
–Weeder
-Scraper
-Scissors
Fonts:
-Bayamo
-Belwe Std medium
Daisy Design: #M8DB1791
First, I cut out my design onto permanent vinyl using my Cricut Explore 3 . Then I used my weeding tool to take off the excess vinyl. To adhere the words to the balloon, I used transfer tape. A scraper worked great to make the words stick to the balloon. Peel the transfer tape off at the end and you have a beautiful design!
My second project involved cutting out daisies and circles to create a banner backdrop & accents for my glass milk bottles.
To create my designs, I used white & yellow cardstock sticker paper. The sticker paper worked great to attach my design onto my glass milk bottles. For the daisy banner, I pressed the circles stickers together overtop of string & attached daisies. So easy!
My Cricut creations matched my party just perfectly! I loved how well they accented my daisy plates! To create a fun affect, I layered palm leaf plates under the daisies.
Confetti is always a good idea right? I found some darling confetti with real pressed daisies at Momo Party Shop! It was such a fun detail!
Lastly, I set out a fun charcuterie board with yummy snacks! Snack boards are always a hit with my family. Looking for charcuterie board ideas? Feel free to check out my Trolls inspired snack board on the blog!
I hope you found a few ideas to plan your own daisy party! This would be a great theme for summer time or a girly birthday party! Do you have a Cricut Explore? What projects have you made? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
