Are you looking for 4th of July tablescape ideas? To celebrate the 4th, I set up a tablescape with a sub sandwich charcuterie board. My family had a lot of fun building their own subs! I hope you find a few ideas to set up your own tablescape!
Set up a sub sandwich charcuterie board
So, I’ve got a thing for charcuterie boards. They are so fun to make! At the center of the table, I set out a snack board filled with sub sandwich fixens! Click here to find out how to create your own sub charcuterie board! It’s easy, I promise!
Fast food baskets were the perfect containers to display the bread and chips! If you are serving a crowd, it’s so easy to refill the charcuterie board and baskets!
Serve star shaped watermelon
Using a star cookie cutter, I cut watermelon into star shaped pieces. This is so simple to do and it adds a patriotic feel to the table.
festive place settings
Each place setting included a plate, charger plate and flag napkin. The white plates are from my cupboard and I found the silver chargers at the Dollar Tree. I couldn’t pass them up!
Star spangled straws added the perfect touch to our drinks! The mason jar glasses were easy for my kids to use and a fun addition to my table! (another Dollar Tree find!)
patriotic decorations
Guys, don’t get me wrong, I love to style a pretty tablescape but I keep things pretty simple. We have 5 kids, ages 9 and under, so I kept them in mind when decorating my tablescape.
To create a family friendly tablescape, I used minimal decorations. To accomplish this, I added touches of red, white and blue. For example, I used flag napkins, matching red drinks, and festive fast food baskets! Easy peasy!
No centerpiece? No problem! In this case, I placed all the food at the center of the table and styled it in a creative way!
Are you hosting a 4th of July dinner? A 4th of July tablescape is so easy to set up. My family loved building their own subs and enjoying a yummy meal together. I hope you feel inspired to style your own table. My advice is to keep it simple and have fun!!
