The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. There are tons of festive decoration ideas out there and I love the red, white and blue colors. I’m so excited to share a few easy recipes, patriotic decorations and cute party favor ideas with you. Let’s dive into the details.

Hands down, cupcakes are one of my favorite party treats to include at a party. They are a breeze to make and yummy as ever!
I found a tasty funfetti cupcake recipe over at Sally’s Baking Addiction blog. I just added patriotic sprinkles to the batter and top them off with some cute toppers. They paired well with my cake stand from Amalfi Decor.

If you are looking for great quality cupcake liners, stop by Sweets and Treats shop. These are the best liners around and the batter doesn’t show through!
Rice Krispy Treats are an easy snack for any party. I started out with a Rice Krispies recipe, let them harden for 20 minutes and then cut them into stars.
*Useful tip: spray the cookie cutter with cooking spray first!
Next, I placed the stars on a cooling rack with wax paper underneath. I melted Wilton Melts, drizzled the chocolate over the top, and added sprinkles for a festive flair!
Trifles are a popular dessert that most people love! To try something different, I made my own patriotic berry & banana cream mini trifles and put them in clear solo cups. They accented my cake stand so perfectly.
To add a pop of red, I included re-usable spoons from Sweets & Treats. They come in a variety of colors and they’d be perfect for any party theme!
When it comes to drinks, I like to keep it simple! Fill glass milk bottles or plain cups with red Hawaiian punch for the guests.
If you like to embellish, just add patriotic paper straws and labels from Love the Day shop for a fun touch.
I’m all about easy party favors that guests will love! Just fill a bag with crinkle paper and party poppers (from the Dollar Tree!) and attach a cute tag. My kids loved them!
Paper goods can be simple and inexpensive while still making a bold statement. I found mine at the Dollar Tree!
I hope you feel inspired to decorate your own 4th of July dessert table. It’d be the perfect addition to your Independence Day event! Whip up a few patriotic treats, decorate a bit, and have a blast!
