Magic Xperience Party Supplies- A Product Review!

Have you heard of augmented realities? Magic Xperience is a company based in France that offers party supplies linked to an augmented reality; a 3D experience where characters come to life using an app. Recently, they launched their party product line in the United States. When you download their free app, you can watch the characters on the plates, cups and napkins come to life right before your eyes!

My kids and I tried out the Princess Party Set all about Princess Aveline, a princess who inherits a magical crown and goes on exciting adventures.

This party set offers a unique and fun entertainment for the kid’s to enjoy.  The Princess Party Set costed $24.99 and included 10 plates, 10 cups and 20 napkins.

My kid’s really enjoyed watching the images come to life. When we scanned the party supplies using the app, the princess danced around on the plate, flowers blossomed and butterflies batted their wings. It was fun to see their reactions to the animated experience.

How it Works

Buy Your Party Supplies

First, you buy the party supplies for your event. Magic Xperience has a few different character options for either boy or girl parties. We chose the Princess Party Set.

Download Magic Xperience App

Find Magic Xperience Application in the Google Play store or Apple store and launch it on your device.

Watch Characters Come to Life

Point your phone at the character on the plates, cups or napkins and watch the augmented interactive reality through your phone.

Pros

The app was easy and fast to download

Adds a fun activity to children’s parties

Unique character party packs

Great quality paper goods

Easy to match to other party supplies and decorations

Cons

Sometimes the app would work on the party cup and other times it took a minute or so to view the animation. (The plate and napkin worked very well with the app) My phone isn’t the newest model, so maybe that had something to do with it. 

Short animated clip which provided only a limited time of entertainment

Overall, Magic Xperience has unique party sets that many kids would enjoy! The colors are easy to match to other party decorations plus you get a bonus augmented reality, where the characters come to life using the Magic Experience App.

The only real con was the party cup didn’t work as well with my phone and the app. Otherwise I think this company has good things to offer! You can buy the Princess Party Set online in the Magic Xperience shop. They also offer other character options.
