It’s that time of year again.. and the cooler weather is upon us! Fall is one of my favorite times of year and I love decorating for this season!
If you are having guests over or need a simple breakfast idea for the family, why not put on a Fall themed breakfast bar? I’ll be sharing easy DIY decorations, cereal station and food ideas!
Setting up the Decorations

I’ve also received free product that I’ve incorporated into my breakfast bar. All opinions of the product are 100% my own.
DIY Leaf Banner
My favorite decoration was definitely the leaf banners that I created as a backdrop. They were so easy to make! All I did was spray paint artificial leaves in the appropriate colors. Then I glued the leaves onto a string of twine using hot glue. Super simple!
Rustic Elements
To start out, I used a rustic wooden table and backdrop to set up the breakfast station. Then I incorporated metal bins and wooden pedestals to create a fun look!
Gold & Blue Decorations
For Fall, I like to decorate with non-traditional colors. So I did a little DIYing (is that a word?) and I spray painted leaves and pumpkins blue and gold. I was really happy with how they turned out. Plus it was a fun excuse to spray paint stuff.
Breakfast Food Ideas
Pumpkin Scones
One of my favorite things about Fall is all the baking/cooking. Pumpkin, apple, cinnamon.. all those yummy recipe flavors make my mouth water!
One of my Fall favorites is these pumpkin scones from Mel’s Kitchen Cafe Blog. They’re so simple to make and they are covered with the most delicious Ginger glaze. Bonus! To create a fun look, I displayed them on an elegant cake stand from Amalfi Decor.
Mini Quiches
If you are looking for a simple and wholesome breakfast recipe, these Mini Ham and Cheese Quiches are it! They took no time at all to make and they tasted great.
Apple Crumb Muffins
I’m a sucker for delicious muffins, especially if they have crumble on top! These Glazed Apple Crumb Muffins were a huge hit with the family.
Of course I had a little fun and incorporated orange cupcake liners with sugar crystals sprinkled on top!
Setting up a Fun Cereal Station!
Did you love Cheerios as a kid? When I saw these delicious Maple Cheerios, I just had to buy them to serve at my breakfast station. My kids definitely didn’t complain. I’m sure they’d eat cereal for every meal if they could!
To create a cereal station, I just used jars or vases that I had on hand. I thought it needed a pop of color, so I incorporated orange re-usable spoons!
Fruit is a healthy and yummy addition any breakfast bar! Just fill up treat cups with grapes for an easy and kid-friendly snack!
Setting up an Apple Cider Station!
My family’s favorite Fall drink is Apple cider. We like to serve it hot or cold. Either way it’s a delicious Fall treat!
If you like to eliminate the paper goods, try using glass milk bottles. All I did was dress them up a bit with brown ribbon, leaves and cutesy straws.
I hope you feel inspired to set up a breakfast bar for your family or friends this Fall! This setup was really simple to create and my family enjoyed it!
