Could you eat pizza everyday? As a kid, I thought I could. Any kid (or adult) perks up when they hear the words “pizza party”. I wanted to make our usual pizza night special so I planned a “make your own” pizza party! Grab my free party printables and learn how to set up your own pizza station!

Create a fun backdrop!
A backdrop is the first thing about a party that grabs my attention! I wanted to make mine stand out so I attached cute pizzas and a banner to the wall. Grab my free pizza party printables to design your own!
Are you ready to make your backdrop “pop”? A balloon garland is the answer! To create this balloon garland, I blew up balloons and attached them to a balloon arch strip.
You can also make a balloon garland using fishing line and a needle. Check out my balloon garland tutorial to find out how!
Choose a pizza dough recipe
My go-to pizza dough recipe is from Mel’s Kitchen Cafe blog. It’s super easy to make! Store bought dough would work as well!
I’m a big fan of making personal pan pizzas. When I found disposable foil pie pans at the Dollar Tree, I was excited to give them a try! They worked out really well.
pick out your pizza toppings!
It’s always fun to choose your own pizza toppings! So I set out our favorite toppings in bowls and ramekins! Feel free to include your own favorites!
Pizza Topping Ideas
-Pizza sauce
-Mozzarella cheese
-Canadian Bacon
-Pepperoni
-Peppers
-Mushrooms
-Grape Tomatoes
-Pineapple
Top off your pizza fixens with food label flags! (see my party printables!) Just cut them out and attach each one to a tooth pick using scotch tape.
jazz up glass milk bottles
Glass milk bottles are super handy to use for parties! To dress them up a bit, I attached a bottle labels around the center and added straw flags! (see my printables).
Tip: To attach the bottle labels, I just used a small piece of scotch tape on the back side!
Straws are so simple and yet they added a fun element to the party! (I found these paper straws at Walmart!) Attaching straw flags using double sided tape can make your drinks stand out!
make, bake and enjoy!
My kids enjoyed making our own pizzas and choosing their own toppings! I realized after the fact that I forgot to take pictures of them building their pizzas! Oh well, that’s life!
We baked our pizzas in foil pie pans! These tins would work great to serve the pizzas in after they cool, or your can serve them on a separate plate!
I hope your feel inspired to host a “make your own” pizza party! Be sure to grab the pizza party printables to create your own set up!
