Frozen 2 Sweet Chex Mix Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 Cups Mini Marshmallows
- 3 Cups Plain Chex Mix
- 3 Cups Pretzels
- 3/4 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips
- 10 Oz. Blue Wilton Candy Melts
- Leaf sprinkles
Instructions
- Mix together marshmallows, chex mix, pretzels & chocolate chips in a large bowl. Gather a cookie sheet and cover it with parchment paper. Pour the chex mix onto the cookie sheet and spread out evenly.
- Melt your candy melts in the microwave according to the package instructions. Then pour most of the chocolate over the chex mix and stir until the chocolate is mixed in. Save a little bit of chocolate to drizzle over the top.
- To create a fun look, drizzle chocolate back and forth over the mix using a cereal spoon. Add leaf sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet. Serve and enjoy!
We went to see the movie recently, it was so much fun! This would be great to make for a party or just when watching either movies at home…
We saw the movie too! It was pretty good!
Hi Sarina, Love your Frozen 2 themed party! Can I ask where the autumn leaf cupcake toppers are from? Also, did you use real leaves for decorating the table and if so what type of leaf are they?
Thanks!
Hello, Thanks for your kind words! I found the autumn leaf toppers at Hobby Lobby, it was in the Falls section so I am
not sure if they carry them still. I used artificial leaves that come in a pack, also from Hobby Lobby! 🙂
You should make this post like into a definitive guide or something. I bet a lot of your new readers that come to this site would want to be able to find this post. It’s too good to keep secret!
Thanks for the comment!
Hi! Can this be portioned into individual treat bags and if so should it be refrigerated before packaging?
Yes, I’m sure it could! I’d recommend spreading the chocolate drizzle over the chex mix first.. then put it
into bags. It shouldn’t need to be refrigerated.
This Frozen 2 Sweet Chex Mix recipe is a delightful treat that perfectly captures the enchantment of the movie! I love how the sweet and salty flavors blend together to create a truly magical snack. The addition of the snowflake-shaped pretzels is such a cute touch and makes it even more appealing. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe, it’s a delightful way to bring a touch of Arendelle into our homes. Well done!
