Honestly I didn’t spend very much money to set up my hot cocoa bar. To decorate my hot cocoa station, I just dug out my Christmas tote! Plus I didn’t get to fancy with the cocoa! I just made hot cocoa with pre-made mix to save time.
What toppings would you choose? Don’t forget to use what you have on hand first and then maybe buy a few extras! Variety is key, so I set out a bunch of yummy options. Here’s a few ideas!
Toppings:
-Chocolate chips
-Coconut flakes
-Sprinkles
-Mini marshmallows
–Snowman marshmallows
–Caramels
–Cream filled wafers
-Whip cream
Feel free to use my topping ideas or choose a few of your own favorites!
Do you ever buy holiday marshmallows that come in fun shapes? When I found these snowman marshmallows, I had to have them! My kids thought they were the greatest!
Simple Decoration Ideas
To set up my cocoa bar, I started with a few basic elements. Before I laid out the supplies, I placed a burlap runner over the dresser. Then displayed a wooden serving tray to serve the hot chocolate!
To add a Christmas flair, I incorporated Christmas ornaments and a festive Christmas arrangement in a jar!
To create a simple decoration, I filled a mason jar with real pine branches, berries and a snow flake. It was super easy to put together!
I’m all for the black and white plaid trend! So I tied cute ribbons around a few of the jars!
Easy Snack Idea!
When I’m hosting a party, I’m all about serving simple snacks! So I don’t feel bad about about buying these mini cinnamon rolls at Walmart!
To dress up the cinnamon rolls, I topped them off with Christmas sprinkles!
It’s all in the details! I love to decorate so I added mini ornaments and ribbons to my cake stand.
I hope you feel inspired to set up your own Christmas hot cocoa bar! This is such an easy idea that your family or friends will love!
